The aftermath of a violent attack on District Three has left ITF Director Bill Taggart feeling uneasy. All is too calm. The Indigenes have returned to normal life; even his wife is moving on. Bill wishes he could do the same.
When a surprise illness starts spreading through the Indigenes’ home, Bill’s greatest fear comes true. It’s a medical problem he’s not equipped to deal with. Setting aside his fears, he asks an old rival for a favour. But when conditions in District Three deteriorate fast, he has no choice but to give in to his sworn enemy’s demands.
